Introduction to Release of In Camera Minutes Nov

There is an Ombudsman’s investigation ongoing regarding complaints by landowners
about actions of the previous Board. One of the issues that the Ombudsman asked
the current Board to address was to review In-Camera Minutes of the Board from
the period of Nov. 2010 thru April 2011, and make a determination of whether any
or all of those In-Camera minutes could be made public. The current Board
reviewed those minutes for privacy concerns and potential harm to UBID. Privacy
issues have been dealt with either by obtaining consent or redacting parts of
the Minutes, and there is no longer any need to keep the legal issues
confidential, so the Board have determined that they can be released. There are
5 sets of Minutes and one separate Resolution.
